Reputation Points System - Overview:

Reputation Points are something you can collect by buying and selling with other Phoenix Dollar members who leave feedback for you on each successful transaction. We operate on a 5 star system and each star represents a portion of successfully completed transactions with positive feedback. This feature helps you as a merchant to build your reputation and trust in the marketplace. Accounts with higher reputation points and positive feedback will naturally be able to obtain more business from other members faster. You may also leave feedback for others you purchase from and dispute bad feedback and take it into private arbitration should a simple dispute not satisfy the situation at hand. Certain members who have 5 star accounts can obtain a 5 star VIP account with a Phoenix added to the reputation. This signifies either founding member accounts, or accounts of people who hold VIP status for helping promote the currency to the public at large. Accounts with Reputation points cannot be sold to other clients with the reputation points attached. Once the account ownership changes hands, the account will lose all of its existing reputation points and feedback and start from zero again.

How to use the Reputation Points System:

Every Verified Phoenix Dollar member has a Reputation Score and feedback within their member account based on all of their past transactions. Learning to trust a member of the Phoenix Community has a lot to do with what their past customers are saying about them and what scores they have left when rating the transactions made.

For each transaction, only the buyer and seller can rate each other by leaving feedback. Each feedback left consists of a positive, negative, or neutral rating, and a short comment. Leaving honest comments about a particular Phoenix Member gives other Phoenix Community members a good idea of what to expect when dealing with that member. Once it is left, the feedback becomes a permanent part of the member's profile.

Feedback ratings are used to determine each member's feedback score. A positive rating adds 1 to the score, a negative rating decreases it by 1, and a neutral rating has no impact. The higher the feedback score, the more positive ratings they've received from members. However, a member can increase or decrease another member's score by only 1 no matter how many transactions they share. In other words, your first rated transaction with any unique member is the one that will increase or decrease your point total and theirs should you decide to leave feedback.

The feedback score and the corresponding feedback star are shown next to every member's user ID. A feedback score of at least 25 earns you a single silver star. As your feedback score increases, you earn more silver stars up to 5 stars in total for 5000+ positively rated transactions. Your stars are your symbols of trust and experience in the Phoenix Community.
